Immovable

“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭58‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If you hit a peg into the ground, are strong enough to hit it soundly and the soil is not impenetrable, then it will stay. Then it is immovable. This is how we are to be in our faith. Determined to stay grounded in the Lord and stay where we are planted.

Staying rooted and grounded in the word of God is important, as is staying planted in the church. Wandering off and doing our own things does not work.

God has a plan for each one of us and it is found as we lock into Him and His church. Yesterday I was discussing with my fellow missionary where we will have fellowship in Nepal. As we do not yet speak Nepali the idea of sitting  for hours through a service we do not comprehend is not enthusing. However, many churches in the world, including ours, now have online services. However, fellowship is an important part of church life and we must maintain this. We do know a man in Chitwan who pastors a church and we could meet he and his wife for fellowship as they speak good English. Also, young Timothy who will be working with us will be good to have fellowship with.

Fellowship keeps us firm in our faith and prevents us from embracing strange doctrine. It also encourages us when we are struggling.

Each morning we are up early as our church is having a prayer meeting daily for 21 days. The connection with others and praying together is powerful and beautiful. Stay in fellowship!
