Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.1 Timothy 4:12 HCSB

Timothy was instructed to not allow anyone to despise him. The reason was age, this could also apply in reverse. He was admonished to show godly character, in speech, faith, 

purity and conduct.

Showing a godly conduct, blesses ourselves, our God and those who associate with us. Godly conduct mimics that of Jesus. Although tempted, He did not succumb. 

We have been given God's Holy Spirit, so that we might live in His power from within us. His power is enough for us. As Paul said, "flee youthful lusts" (2 Tim 2:22). I think lust is prevalent in all ages, so flee, all of you!
