Doing good

“So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.”

Good is not we emotionally feel is good, or plan with our own thinking. Doing good is motivated by the Holy Spirit working in our lives.

Yesterday I finished uni, yay! I went for a hike up my hill, did a painting and on the way home was met by my Nigerian neighbour. We started talking and I told her I had finished uni. She asked me to help her with her studies, I said “I can do that!” When I find myself in foreign countries I rely on the inhabitants to help me with their language.

I let my games group know I’d finished and they want to celebrate. I will make a ginger sponge roll to take. I know this will bless them. While I’m cooking I’ll make another for my neighbour’s birthday on Saturday. All of these people do not yet know Jesus as their saviour and Lord.

Tonight I will attend my astronomy groups meeting. I am now able to serve and be involved looking for an opportunity to show Christ. Monday night I will attend my RFS training night, they also need Jesus.

Jesus is my motivator. He wants as many as possible to know Him! In that process we can do good. Amen!
