Great is Your faithfulness, morning by morning new mercies I see. Written by Thomas Chisholm who came to Christ at age 26 in 1882 in Kentucky USA. It is well worth reading the verses. Thomas wanted to incorporate as much scripture into the songs he wrote as possible, so that there would be no flippancy.
It is good to reflect with gratitude the goodness of God. It is also good to thank God for His goodnes and worship Him, reminding Him that we trust Him to handle all our life.
I believe I have had a win: for the longest time I have battled with the negativity of my old friend. I happen to tell her that her whole room was filled with the Holy Spirits presence and yet she was allowing a nasty, loud spirit to convince her to be fearful. I told her as she like to shop, choose the better store and ask the Holy Spirit what He has for her. She caught it!, by George she got it! Praise God!
My friend will no discover the goodness of God!
