Hen I feel pain, as I often do, and the word of God that says: “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”
(Isaiah 53:5). It must bring the truth to my heart. If my heart struggles to hear it what is the problem? Unbelief! I do not believe that Jesus paid for my sickness, injury or disease. Why? Perhaps the unbelief is that He did it for others but not for me? John tells me the answer: 1 Jn 4:18: perfect love drives out fear. It is a love issue. Then to the Lord I must go to have this resolved. I cannot resolve it without revelation.
If I can believe that the same scripture tells me that Jesus died for my sins, then I must also believe He suffered for my pains. This is today’s journey. This issue must be solved. Amen!
