“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.””Mark 16:15-18 NLT
This is the Christian mandate. I have gone, but my preaching, so far, has been to those who need discipling, with the exception of two.I have prayed for the sick, and have not had problems with snakes yet, or demons, however, they are around.
I am learning the language so that I can communicate. It is proving more challenging than first thought, however, if I remember I was learned French for three years at school and only remember a few sentences, I learned Japanese for a year and remember a few words. Nonetheless, I have only been here 1 month and it is early days. I am aware behaviour speaks volumes and so I go out into the streets with love in my heart.
Today I meet with a potential translator, getting ready for the task I wish to undertake, translating a work of bible study material for the Nepali pastors. I am also waiting for the official documents to be signed for copyright purposes.
Although trh monsoon season should be over the rain had come over the last few days, precluding travel without getting wet. Yesterday I listened to another Joel C Rosenberg audio book on Israel. It was reveling. I also listened to another podcast. God is moving! Amen!
