Finding the right road is the challenge. If life is easy then possibly it is the road to destruction. Finding the road to eternal life is on the narrow road.
Here in Nepal you can be almost on the entrance to a narrow street and not recognise it as a street. I use taxis a lot here and as I am plumenting forward with a sudden left turn I am left wondering where we are going. The narrow roads may also be dirt tracks through obscure areas. The entrance to my present accomodation was hard to find at first, it is hidden behind a wall and locked between that wall and another building. However, the road leads to a lush courtyard of peace and rest.
Life in Christ can be difficult to find. It can be riddled with obstacles and holes in the road. Difficulties can make us think we are on the wrong road. However, going to God and spending time with Him can assure us, we are on the right road.
We need to wear night vision goggles at times to see the way. Trusting God is the way, following His lead is the path. Amen!
