“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”Ephesians 4:32 NLT
I seem to keep tripping over this verse, regularly. It usually occurs when I am frustrated with another Christian and want to distance myself or even not bother at all.
Last night I listened to a message by Bill Johnson, he was talking about how God uses the difficult people in our lives to reveal a part of us that refuses to yoke with them. The difficulty we experience in trying to remove ourselfves and go our own way, is us trying to carry the yoke by ourselves. Rather we should get back into harness.
I think we all have such people. Bill spends time praying for the person and thanking God for them. I can do this also. Gratitude changes things. Concentrating on the good suddenly covers the multitude of sin. “Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.”1 Peter 4:8 NLT
Love covers! Amen!
