“Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”

Truth is only truth when it is based in God and His word. Otherwise we are prone to deception and lies. My challenge is finding the belt of truth in what others are saying to me. It is also important in finding what God acrually wants me to do for others.
I am surrounded by hands outstretched wanting my financial aid. My focus must be: who has God asked me to support? What is He wanting to do in the faith lives of others? How will I impede the faith of others by being where I should not be? Lastly, what is He wanting to do in my life through this time?
Yesterday I felt a wall wherever I turned. My computer work would not format properly, my bank would not process payments, payments from overseas would not eventuate. Lastly, outstretched hands wanting relief confronted me. I resolved to seek the Lord. What is He doing? I want to be where He is. Amen!
