“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,”
Titus 2:11-13 NIV
We all receive grace at salvation; wirhout it we would not come to Christ. When we receive the Spirit of Christ at salvation, it indwells us. Jesus said the Holy Spirit would be our counsellor, guide and comforter. As such he teaches us what is right and godly, we receive a natural aversion to ungodliness and worldly passions.
This present age is falling apart quickly, the filth of depravity is seeping into every area as the world rejects Christ. Sodom and Gomorrah are playing out before our very eyes. As Lot and his family had to escape we are given a way of escape, a life in Christ.
We need to draw near to Him as the darkness closes in, He is raising up a standard against the enemy. Souls are coming to Christ in mass numbers throughout the earth. Here is our focus! Amen!
