He was made sin for us

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This verse encapsulates the song Jesus Messiah by Chris Tomlin. All out hope is in You Jesus! However, this verse comes at the end on a discourse on is reconciling the world to God through Jesus Christ, the verse, “ “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If I am a new creation in Christ I am made in His image and have the same commission: to open the eyes of the blind, and set the captives free. I can no longer live for myself, I have work to do, souls to win!

We have a role to play, we are His ambassadors to a fallen world. We have good news! Jesus is that news! An ambassador goes into a foreign land and represents their own country working out trade agreements between their own land and the land in which they have been commissioned to serve.

Our Good News is free, and we have been sent to win customers, to partake in a free gospel. This is good news indeed. The poor can be blessed; without money normally needed to buy the best products.

Lord Jesus use me today! Amen!

My Father's House

After three days, they found Him in the temple complex sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all those who heard Him were astounded at His understanding and His answers. Luke 2:46,47 Jesus was 12. His parents had brought Him to Jerusalem for the festival but Jesus failed to return with them. When they finally found Him, after frantically searching for Him and had rebuked Him, He said, " didn't you know I had to be in My Father's house?" Jesus knew the importance of being in His Father's house and He was the Messiah, what does that mean to me? I love being in church. Keep Watch

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust. Proverbs 4:23‭-‬27 MSG https://bible.com/bible/97/pro.4.23-27.MSG Eyes straight! Jesus taught to keep our eyes on Him. When we drive down the road we must focus straight ahead. Myself, I tend to drive where I look and therefore cannot afford to look to the right or left. This is the same in life. There are times of extreme stress when we are surrounded by problems and drama. It is important, at such times, that we control our thoughts and focus on what is ahead. By focussing on Jesus we contain our thoughts in a zone that already is successful. This is also called walking by faith in the Son of God. We can trust Him! Amen!
