The rich

“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This was Jesus’ response to the disciple’s question: “who in the world can be saved?” Their question was in response to His statement:
“Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Why is it hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God? Because they are satisfied with life and can think they have all they need. However, if the Father frustrates their lives and manors them aware of their emptiness, then they can come.

This whole senario came about when a rich young ruler came to Jesus asking how he could obtain eternal life. The young man asked, “what’ must I do to obtain eternal life?” Jesus told him to sell all he had and follow Him. The young man went away sad.

We are not told the outcome. I do know that Jesus was friends with Lazarus, Mary and Martha. These three came from a rich family. Who knows? We will know the answer in eternity.

There are many Americans trying to save Elon Musk’s soul. Only the Father knows the answer there. If He draws him Elon has a chance.

We must trust and pray! Amen!

Power to live a godly life

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have His divine power to overcome. You might say, ‘But I don’t feel any different! So, since when does how you feel dictate the powers ability to help. If you believe you have it and step into it, you have it! For the longest time I have had a battle with a particular temptation and most times lost, because I tried to beat the feeling. No surrender to fear

““Don’t worry or surrender to your fear. For you’ve believed in God, now trust and believe in me also.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬ ‭TPT‬‬ Yesterday tens of thousands of youth stormed Parliament House here in Nepal. It has been reported that 20 were killed and hundreds were injured. I had stayed away from the area believing it to be unsafe and it was. Today, now that young people have been killed, there will be a greater strife brought about by parents of those who went to the protest. Milling children is never a good idea. Nepal has had a long history of strife. It has a civil war that lasted 10 years not so long back. Corruption fills the government and the people are not happy. However, underneath there are lovely human beings who need salvation. As in any race of people, there are people who have needs. I cannot be afraid of the uprest. I have a God who is the master of peace. He is good! I must trust Him. Amen!
