There is a hope
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and shadow of death, upon them has the light shined. Is 9:2
In our own wisdom and cleverness we are unable to save ourselves, we can turn inside out, visit all the so called holy sites in the world but we cannot cleanses our innermost parts. There is a very good reason why we cannot do this, we do not have the power, we are not God.
If our children, when they are first born, do not require us and are born self-sufficient, we are made redundant. Yet this is not how it is. They require us in their lives always, to some point.
My son turned 28 yesterday and although he is married and has three children there is always a time when he needs mum, usually for a hug of encouragement, He needs to know he is loved, unconditionally.
Our Father made us to be in relationship with Him, He is so full of love that He wants to share it with us. We can have a harsh view of God, much like an Old Testament view, but He is the Father Jesus presented to the world.
As we choose to be in relationship with Him we begin to discover that love and find that it has no bounds.
Grace and mercy awaits, new every morning. Fresh life is there for me, if I choose. Just as I choose which clothes to wear, I can choose grace and it empowers me, keeps me clean, lifts me, fills me.
Choose Grace today and live!
