It is well!

There is not even one thing outside a man which by going into him can pollute and defile him; but the things which come out of a man are what defile him and make him unhallowed and unclean. Mark 7:15
Yesterday I had a visit from one of Job's comforters and it left me covered with muck. This friend had know me for sometime and wanted to know how things were going. Oh Dear! I have to learn not to speak the things that are but the things unseen.
How wiley is my enemy. Last night I had my first DivorceCare group for a while begin again. There were lovely souls desperate to find God there. My enemy wanted to dis-empower me, and although the class went well I was unempowered.
It wasn't until this morning that I was free from the barb in my soul. As I awoke my enemy was the first there but my confession was 'it is well'. As I sang 'it is well' it became well.
Coming to work I listened to brother Benny. He preaches about the Shunamite lady who had received a child after Elisha spoke life over her. Her child had died but the woman confessed differently. To her husband she said 'it shall be well', to Gahazi (Elisha's servant) she said 'it is well', and she clung to the feet of Elisha.
To my world I speak life and I refuse to walk in death. The cry of my heart is that the Lord would fill me and use me for His glory, to set captives free and heal the broken.
I say 'it is well'. Amen!
