Pure Light
1 John 1:5 (MSG) This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there's not a trace of darkness in him.
No hidden shadows, no secret agenda, consistently, forever the same without change. How reliable would that be?
His word is His bond, if He says something, He will do it, in the right time. It is important to wait for the provision and not throw away all that has led up to the moment of birth, I almost did.
Last October I had been through a horrendous time and was ready to walk away from the financial services industry but the Lord calmly shut all the doors, praise Him!
In October last year the company I work under was deciding to make a change that opened the door for me. I didn’t know about it until January. I would never had known about it had I gone.
How many times do we give up just when changes are being birthed. The birthing process is very painful, excruciatingly so.
Today I had the pleasure of spending the day in Melbourne on a work conference, I am being given all the tools I need to be a success, it is exciting.
I enjoyed walking to and from the MCG venue and breathed in the atmosphere, walked by the Yarra, through Federation park, by old buildings, trams, lovely.
Walking with my God is awesome, His ways are best, His mind towards me is sheer pleasure, how great is my God! Amen!
