Real Love

Jude 1:20-23 (MSG)  But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit,  staying right at the center of God's love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!

Go easy on those who hesitate in the faith.  Go after those who take the wrong way. Be tender with sinners, but not soft on sin. The sin itself stinks to high heaven.

I am constantly aware that I need to build myself up but it is not all about me.

Today I am half-way through a babysit stint so that my daughter-in-law can go to the Colour Conference in Sydney. My room is opposite the most difficult child and although he usually sleeps through the night, he didn't.

All three boys are awake at 6am, again I prefer to spend my early waking hours with the Lord, in private, with a coffee.

The children are educated in spending the hour until seven in their rooms but guess who doesn't want to stay there? My neighbour!

I am aware that I have a great part to pay in the lives of these little ones, their future belief and trust in the Lord is important to me.

In life outside of my home there are lost people, caught in sin and they need me to seek them out. Everyone of us is given a selection to reach, do we ignore them or are we on the job?

Out-reach takes a little effort but is so rewarding, All of heaven come to our aid and they rejoice as one sinner repents, so if we like parties this is the best use of our time. Amen!
