Timing

Acts 1:6-8 (MSG)  When they were together for the last time they asked, "Master, are you going to restore the kingdom to Israel now? Is this the time?"

He told them, "You don't get to know the time. Timing is the Father's business.

What you'll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world."

 

Timing is something we love to control but as we strive to control we are missing something, it is the Father's business and we are given the Holy Spirit.

 

Have you ever missed the point? Someone is trying to explain something to you and you don't get it because you are on a different track, then suddenly you have a revelation hit you like an oncoming train 'wham! you saw and felt silly.

 

Well this is one of those. we can be so consumed with planning and plotting who goes where and what the result is and completely miss something that is hidden from view, only because we are not looking on the right direction.

 

The Holy spirit is not caught unaware, He has the full picture in view, He sees it all. He sees what is hidden, purposefully and otherwise. He knows the best path, the best result, in fact the Kingdom result.

 

As we, instead, fellowship the Holy Spirit, wait on His timing, His provision, His path and not stress, all things are made new, all things work together for our good. Amen!

 

The result is the Kingdom gets built.
