Light Up His Eyes

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He will hear us. And if we know He hears us- whatever we ask- we know that we will have what we ask of Him. 1john 5:14,15

Would you agree with me that the trick would be knowing His will and agreeing with it? Yup!

His will is not just what I feel good about because my feelings may not be, or I should say, probably are not, sanctified enough because they are closely connected to my flesh and we know that our flesh and it's appetites are, well, carnal.

So what do I agree with? The only sure thing is what He says about me and that He has good plans for me but as much as I can hazard a guess at what that looks like I do not know until He shows me.

When He does show me the next step I know that I know and my spirit takes over.

So when I know that I know I can agree and therefore ask because I know His will. In fact I do more than ask, I command, interceed speak it out because I know He has gone before me and is doing great things on my behalf.

I know He hears me and is vitally interested in my response, after all He is my dad. He is watching to see what I will do.

Does she want to go without training wheels yet? Yes! Now is the day, I am so proud of her.

What about you? Are you ready to go without your diaper? Your dummy? Are you ready for school?

Come on put the light in His eyes, make Him smile, why He may even throw. Party for you!

Dare to try! Dare to believe! But what if you can?
