But the angel said to them, "don't be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: today a Saviour, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David. This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped snugly in cloth and lying in a feeding trough". Suddenly there was a multitude if heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people He favours! Luke 2:10-14
Jesus came to bring peace to heart and minds. He came as a light to shine the way to the lost.
Today we celebrate His coming. Today let us remember what He came to give: peace.
In all you do today remember He did not come to judge but to bring a way home to the Father. May peace and forgiveness full your heart as you mix with family and friends. Jesus said: "blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy".Matthew 5:7.
