He Can do All Things!

Now to Him, who is able to do above and beyond all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.- to Him be glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever, amen.
Ephesians 3:20,21

He is able to do far above what I ask or think, according to the power that works in me.

The Holy Spirit, in all His fullness, dwells in me. However, how much do I allow? Do I hold Him back with unbelief or all Him free reign and see mighty things?

I can't afford to doubt or fear and fall back I must step out and watch Him. What awesome things can I see?

I keep reminding myself: 'but what if He can, and what if I can with Him?'

All things are possible to her who believes, all things.

It feels as if I am walking out into the dark void, at the beginning of time and with Him saying: 'let there be!'

I do not need a 'let there be' if all is cushy and well but when there is darkness and void I can say: 'let there be!'

When God said: 'let there be!' There was! Amazing!

As I step out He is glorified! Try it! Believe! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged. Keep Watch

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust. Proverbs 4:23‭-‬27 MSG https://bible.com/bible/97/pro.4.23-27.MSG Eyes straight! Jesus taught to keep our eyes on Him. When we drive down the road we must focus straight ahead. Myself, I tend to drive where I look and therefore cannot afford to look to the right or left. This is the same in life. There are times of extreme stress when we are surrounded by problems and drama. It is important, at such times, that we control our thoughts and focus on what is ahead. By focussing on Jesus we contain our thoughts in a zone that already is successful. This is also called walking by faith in the Son of God. We can trust Him! Amen!
