Be Ready, He is Coming Soon

"There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that place, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. They will come from the east and west, from north and south, and recline at the table in the Kingdom of God. Note this; some are last who will be first and some are first who will be last." Luke 13:28-30

 

Jesus sure knew how to aggravate the Pharisees, we need Him

to aggravate us if our behaviour becomes Pharisaical.

 

The second coming of Christ is real and pending, He is coming soon. The foolish slave became complacent when the owner delayed and started to live unrighteously. When the owner came the slave was dealt with and thrown out.

 

We need to keep our lamps burning brightly and be ready for Him. He is coming for His bride, the one who has washed her clothes in the blood of the lamb.

 

Self-righteousness will not suffice! Works of the flesh will be burned up. Only Faith pleases!

 

I want to be close to my Lord and have Him walk with me regularly in my garden. I want to be active in His Kingdom for all eternity, I want to be a part of the future and I cannot be that unless I walk there now.

 

Don't listen to the deceiver! Don't swallow his lies! Stand fast and look to our Lord who is our rock and anchor. His strength is there for you and is made perfect in your weakness, call on Him, allow Him in. Amen!
