All the tax collectors and sinners were approaching to listen to Him. And the Pharisees and scribes were complaining, " this man welcomes sinners and eats with them." Luke 15:1,2
I am so grateful He welcomes sinners, aren't you? I am sad that the Pharisees did not recognize their sin and also go to Jesus.
What drew sinners to Jesus? Was it grace?
What draws sinners to me? Is it grace? Amazing grace?
Grace carries no judgement, no attitude. It is totally free, totally whole. Yet grace draws the lost, the hungry.
What makes grace so attractive? Pure peace, pure rest, pure freedom, pure Love, pure God.
The sound of grace is spirit voiced, whispered by a loving God. 'I love you and forgive you, it calls!'
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. Amen!
