Don't be afraid little flock. Because your Father delights to give you the Kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Make money bags for yourselves that won't grow old, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke -2:32-34
Don't you love the language in these passages. It is almost as if Jesus is falling to little children.
We really don't understand Kingdom dynamics do we? It is not about stuff!
If we allow Him to show us He will peel away the layers and show us what is really important- people and our God. Amen!
He takes care of everything else, that really matters, that is.
In the process He sets us free:
My soul is escape like a bird out of the snare of the fowler (psalm -124:7)
The snare is broken and we are escaped blessed be the name of The Lord!
When we are truly free, how good that is no longer so we become offended at God because He does not give us stuff or at others because they so not yield us stuff
Ha! How blessed am I! He has set me free!
