Choose Life

Beside this, (love does no wrong to a neighbour) knowing the time, it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light. Let us walk with decency as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness; not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarrelling and jealousy. But put on The Lord Jesus Christ, and make no plans to satisfy fleshly desires. Romans 13:11-14

This is it folks! Put on Christ! He redeemed us, bought us with His blood, we are not our own any more.

We are Christ followers, He did not mix flesh and spirit so neither should we. Strengthen the limbs that hang down, get up and shine the light you have inside. Amen!

Daily we must choose life, daily we eat breakfast for our flesh so daily we must choose the word of God for our spirit and soul.

Get up! Defy laziness! Rebuke self-pity and walk in the new life you have been given! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
