Many Parts

Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function, in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another. According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts. Romans 12:4-6

Some parts of my body are hidden but I am so grateful they are there. Some are obvious but only serve in a limited or unglamorous way.

The skin, the largest organ has a huge job and it differs depending on need. For example the soles of my feet need to be tougher than the skin on my face, the skin on my feet is hidden from view but vital for ambulation.

The creator of all things built a great unit when He built mankind, we are unique. The more I study the human body, the more I am amazed at the mind of God.

As each part of me functions as a part of the whole, so does the church. A church that harmonises in service is a true blessing indeed. I love to be a part of such a wonder and love to function in it, in the capacity that He has given me.

It is God's grace that enables me. Each one of us has a part and each one completes the whole. There is no need to feel left out or worthless, we belong. Amen!
