Faithful to the End
When Ephraim spoke, there was a trembling; he was exalted in Israel, but he incurred guilt through Baal (worship) and died. Hosea 13:1
Ephraim had a time of preeminence but threw it all away by becoming entangled in idol worship.
Sampson had preeminence and threw it all away for his lust of a woman not of his people. When he was capture he repented and asked God for a final chance and he received it.
It is not how we start that matters. I see so many seniors acting as if they never knew God. They have adopted a soft gospel that has no power. Who would follow such a weak, ineffective gospel? Who would respect such weak individuals who are meant to carry the torch to the finish?
We all long for heroes and our fathers are meant to be they, heroes of faith.
Our God has not changed, He is faithful and true, His word is not impotent but mighty to save.
As Christians we are sons of God and as sons we carry His nature: faithful and true. Don't be weak, let it shine! Amen!
