He is Perfect and Complete!

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 
For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities- all things have been created through Him and for Him. 
He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together. 
He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything. 
For God was pleased to have all fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross- whether the things on earth or things in heaven. Colossians 1:15-20

How beautiful! Christ is the centre! Everything revolves around Him, it is all for Him, He is the force that holds all things together.

He is the head of the church! I know my head holds my brain and without it I am dead. So I can safely say He must be there, and in charge, or I am dead. 

He was the firstborn from the dead, that means He is alive. Amen! If He is alive, He is real, if He is real then He is relevant! Amen!

All fullness dwelt in Christ, nothing was lacking. He was perfect and complete! Amen! He was there reconciling us to Himself by dying on the cross- perfect!

How can I not believe! How can you not believe?

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
