Reconciled to Christ

Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless, and blameless before Him- if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. Colossians 1:21-23

Our decisions and actions alienate us. I remember, back in my youth, being invited to youth fellowship, again and again, by various nurses that were all on the same floor in the nursing home as I. I was caught in a way of behaving and did not see or hear the truth, until He revealed Himself to me.

I was lost but my God found me and came to me. He revealed my sin and showed me a way to Him. The answer for my sin was His ( Christ's sacrifice). I was able to invite Him into my heart and was instantly transformed.

I have been made holy and blameless because of Him. I am redeemed from hopelessness and stay so as I follow Him, in faith. I cannot give up the hope of the gospel, it is mine and it is my life. I am in Him and He is in me. Amen!

I love the verse: 'but now He has reconciled you by His physical body.' He gave Himself for me. I am blessed indeed! Thank You Lord! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
