Life Out of Death

In those days Hezekiah became terminally ill. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came and said to him, this is what The Lord says: "put your affairs in order, for you are about to die; you will not recover."
Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to The Lord, " please Lord, remember how I have walked before You faithfully and wholeheartedly and have done what pleases You." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Isaiah had not gone out of the inner courtyard when the word of the Lord came to him. "Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, This is what The Lord God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. look, I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the Lord's temple. I will add 15 years to your life. I will deliver you and this city from the hands of the king of Assyria. 2 Kings 20:1-6

Hezekiah must have been very ill because he needed a sign that this word would come to pass and  graciously The Lord gave him one, the shadows went backwards 10 steps.

Have you ever wept bitterly because of difficult circumstances, be it illness, emotional pain and distress? I have! The pain can be so bad at times you think you will die but God intervenes and gives you life.

He is the only one who has this ability: life out of death; life from the ashes; men out of mud.

If God can answer Hezekiah He can answer you.

I have a dear friend who's world seems hopelessly lost, she was about to give up and God gave her a dream, next He gave her direction.

What are your circumstances? How lost are you? How much pain is there? He is able to bring change. He is able to open doors, He is able to breathe on those burning embers.

Our enemy loves to boast, ridicule, shout abuse but that is all he can do. He is not God! His end is near! Our God is an awesome God, He lives, He reigns in power and might, our God is an awesome God!
