The Satanic Rebellion is Crushed

When the 1,000 years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea. They came up over the surface of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them. The Devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10

Why does Satan bother? He is so filled with hatred for the Lamb and the saints. He also does not care for those he deceives, he uses them like pawns.

I imagine as he cooled his heels (joke) in the lake of fire he plotted how he could take out the Lamb and His people, or perhaps he was so filled with fury and rage he did what such a one would do, lash out indiscriminately.

Why do we bother to hate and fight over a forgotten insult? Allowing it to cause a rift in families and.friends? Forgiveness is so pleasant to the heart and mind, soothing the raw nerves. 

We need to take note. Satan could not win and neither can we win a war against righteousness. God is good, there is none like Him and He alone is our reward. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
