My Friend

But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit- the Father will send Him in My name- will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you. John 15:26

I want to know so much. I hunger for understanding and here is the answer. The Holy Spirit has it all.

I have a grandson, Archie, who is in the: 'but why?' stage. I think I am still there. The sense of wonder has not left me. The questions: 'how can I do thins?' 'How does that work?' 'What is the way?' 'But why?' linger with me.

Many years ago I had a prophesy over my life. I was told: ' you're in for the ride of your life!' I think knowing the Holy Spirit and having an inquisitive nature leads me on that ride. 

His thoughts are new every morning. God is not he 'same old, same old!' He is new and fresh and full of vigor.

I want to live and breathe 'new' not old.

My God has created so much to keep me wondering and discovering Him forever!

Yesterday I spoke with a woman, who attends Rotary with me, about prophesy. She said she had a problem with it as well as healing. How sad! To have less than all would be aweful. I do not want to settle for less than ALL my God has for me.

Get hungry! Encourage your spirit to long for and seek for God! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
