Change
Adam was intimate with his wife again, and she gve birth to a son and named him Seth, for she said, " God has given me another son in place of Abel, since Cain killed him." A son was born to Seth also, and he named him Enosh. At that time people began to call on the name of The Lord as Yahweh. Genesis 4:25,26
The birth of Enosh began a new beginning, his named meant humanity. Cain went east of the garden of Eden and produced his own group of people, they were without God.
As the New Year dawns we can step into a new beginning or a continuation of the old. Unless the is a change in the old, the old remains in a new year. However, for a new experience we must do something new.
Many begin the year with new year resolutions. Many many of these last but a short while. If my God is leading me into a new experience then I must have a change of thinking to embrace the new.
I cannot walk in my flesh, be it insecurity or negative speech and expect a different result. My thinking has to change, and thus my mind is renewed and the evidence of this is new speech.
Last week I was able to test this. Every day I woke feeling unwell but I refused to play sick. I did not speak sick and I did not act sick. I arose and went to life as if all was well, and I was well.
I gave as if I has abundance, and now I am praising God that I have abundance for every good work. My new office is coming at a rate of knots and I am speaking it into being. I am determined to partner with the Holy Spirit at a different level, a level of success this year. This will also have to spill over to my dealings with barriers. They must come down and I choose to see them down, I choose to speak them down and as nothing. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Amen!
Make this year the best yet!
