God is on the Team

But Moses replied to The Lord, "Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent- either in the last or recently or since You have been speaking to Your servant- because I am slow and hesitant in speech."
Yahweh said to him, " Who made the human mouth? Who made him mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I , Yahweh? Now go! I will help you speak and I will teach you what to say."
Moses said, "Please Lord, send someone else." Then the Lord's anger burned against Moses, and He said, "Isn't Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also he is on his way now to meet you. He will rejoice when he sees you. You will speak with him and tell him what to say. I will help both of you to speak and will teach you both what to do. He will speak to the people for you. He will be your spokesman, and you will serve as God to him. And take this staff in your hand that you will perform the signs with." Exodus 4:10-17

Have you ever dealt with a child who constantly gave excuses as to why they could not do what you wanted them to do? It is like motivating the dead, most frustrating.

Here it was God who was asking Moses to go for Him, but Moses was constantly complaining that he was not able. Moses was limited by what he saw in himself yet God was wanting him to lift up his vision. God was the God who opened deaf ears and blind eyes yet Moses could only see himself and thought he was 'different'.

What is God asking of you?  If He is offering His power, take the job. It will be a blast! When he is along the task is definitely worth doing. Look at him and not yourself. Amen!
