Now the Lord said to Aaron, "Go and meet Moses in the wilderness." So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him. Moses told Aaron everything the Lord had sent him to say, and about all the signs He had commanded him to do. Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the Israelites. Aaron repeated everything the Lord had said to Moses and performed the signs before the people. The people believed, and when they heard that the Lord had paid attention to them and that He had seen their misery; they bowed down and worshipped. Exodus 4:27-31
God had kept His word to Moses; Aaron did come; he did agree to help; and the people believed him. Much to Moses disbelief, God was right.
God still has the same character, He is not fickle, a liar or unfaithful. The Old Testament saw Him keep His word, in the New He fulfilled His word in Christ.
You may be just like Moses, reluctant and disbelieving, this does not change God. If you dare to go, He will go before you.
God's vision for Moses was huge, His for you may be equally as huge. This does not faze God, He is bigger than big. Your problem is that you see yourself as a grasshopper, He sees you as a giant slayer. Who is right? Your feelings and disbelief or His vision and His confession?
Don't be intimidated by your small vision against His big vision. Tie a rope around your waist and attach it to His and take off, what a ride you will have! Just remember the rides at the fun park, the way up is slow and steep but the ride down is a ripper. Go for it!
