A Song of Prophesy

When the people hear, they will shudder;
Anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.
Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified;
Trembling will seize the leaders of Moab;
The inhabitants of Caan will panic;
And terror and dread will fall on them.
They will be as still as stone because of Your powerful arm
Until a Your people pass by, Lord,
Until the people whom a You purchased pass by.
You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of Your possession;
Lord, You have prepared the place for Your dwelling;
Lord, Your hands have established the sanctuary.
The Lord will reign forever and ever! Exodus 15:14-18

This song was prophetic. The inhabitants of the land where the Israelites were to go did indeed hear and were indeed fearful. The way they are listed in the above scripture was the order in which they would encounter them.

God had purchased a people, redeemed a people. We, now are the redeemed, the purchased. Jesus bought us back from sin.

Salvation then was for the Jews, salvation now is for whomever shall come. No race or creed are unwelcome. No sin or sinner is excluded. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus is our righteousness, we don't have to be good enough. I only need to look at Him and trust Him for my salvation, He is perfect. Amen!
