Hard Hearts
Later, He appeared to the Eleven themselves as they were reclining at
the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been resurrected. Mark 16:14
Mary Magdalene had seen Jesus and so did the two disciples who were walking down to Amas, all reported that Jesus was risen but they did not believe.
The 11 saw Jesus taken away, Peter and John saw more but what they saw fueled their unbelief.
Hardness of heart comes from us processing with our natural minds and not spending time in the spirit. If we live with carnal minds and appetites they we cannot discern spiritual things.
We have to be careful to have open hearts to what God is saying and doing, otherwise we miss the mark and affect those in our world with a wrong mindset.
The Lord has the very best for us, we have to have an open heart to receive it. Amen!
