What is the Plan?

While Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the high priest's servants came. When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at humans said, " Tou also were with that Nazarene, Jesus."

But he denied it: "I don't know or understand what your'rw talking about!" Then he went our to the entryway, and a rooster crowed. When the servant saw him again she began to tell those standing nearby, "This man is one of them."

But again he denied it. After a little while those standing there said to Peter again, "You certainly are one of them, since you are also a Galilean!"

Then he started to curse and to swear with an oath, I don't know this man you're talking about!"

Immediately a rooster crowed a second time and Peter remembered when Jesus had spoken the word to him, "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." When he thought about it, he began to weep. Mark 14:66-72

Peter was caught out and his glorious affirmations of loyalty, previously given were being tested.

Peter was probably thoroughly shaken and unsure how to behave. Initially when the mob turned up he was in fight mode but when Jesus surrendered he probably did not have a plan B. Robbed of plan A, to defend his Lord, he was now in hiding but in close enough proximity to know what was happening.

When we don't have a plan we can be dangerous, we say and do foolish things. Peter lived to regret his unwillingness to hear Jesus' warnings and because of his deafness he was unprepared. Jesus wanted Perer to be prepared through prayer but Peter's deafness caused him to take ease instead of caution.

Today I was challenged with: what are you going to do about the slaughter of innocent men, women and children in IRAQ. I had to go to The Lord and ask for His heart. If I act in emotion then I will probably be ineffective, I might feel like I have done something but it will be basically fleshly.

I thought about the victory global Christians wore for the Islamic woman who married. Christian and was facing execution. We protested and prayed and had a result.

I knew our country was partly responsible. As USA, Britian and Australia meddled in IRAQ and deposed Sudam Hussein before, they had taken away strong leadership and replaced it with anarchy, not good. Therefore I wrote to my PM asking for help. I then looked for a world organization that responsibly uses money donated to help, as thy can get in where I cannot go.

I contacted World Vision and asked how to donate and did it. The Kingdom of God is not a kingdom of talk but a kingdom of action.

Now I am posting like crazy on Facebook and Twitter and now here to raise awareness.

All evil has to so to prosper is wait for good men and women to be too busy to see. I refuse to be blind and deaf!
