He is My All
Therefore I am going to persuade her, lead her to the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. Then I will give her vineyards back to her and make the valley of Anchor into a gateway of hope. Then she will respond as she did in the days of her youth, as in the day she came out of Egypt.
In that day- this is the Lord's declaration- you will call Me, "My Husband," and no longer call me "My Baal." Hosea 2:14-16
God was going to strip away all that Israel knew because they had taken God's blessing for granted. He was going to take His people back into the wilderness, speak tenderly to them and win them back in the pace called Anchor, which means trouble.
I don't know about you but for me He is continually bringing me to a place of clarity and awareness about Himself and the reality of my world. The times of clarity are in the midst of much pain or anguish. God has shown me He is my husband, friend, family, He is my provider and giver of all good things, He cares for my health, He cares for all of me. In pain as I cry out to Him, He is there and shows Himself strong.
My God is my Refuge, my Strength and Song, He is all I need. Amen! Out of Him all good things come.
