When My People....

For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth; they will no longer be remembered by their names. On that day I will make a covenant for them with the wild animals, the birds of the sky, and the creatures that crawl on the ground. I will shatter bow, sword, and weapons of war in the Land and will enable the people to rest securely. Hosea 2:17,18

When a person invites Christ into their lives they become the bride of Christ. As His bride He behaves like a husband who protects and enjoys His wife. He does not lead her into calamity. Scripture tells us that 'he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High dwells securely.'

When we step out on our own and trust on our own arm, our own strength, our own wisdom and knowledge then we step out of the secret place and into the firing line. Our hope is in the Name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. Jesus told us to abide in Him and He would abide in us. This is a safe place, a place of rest. Amen!

'I will respond to the sky, and it will respond to the earth. The earth will respond to the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.' Verses21,22

Today I called a client who is a farmer and desperately wants rain. In January my city has received an abundance of rain, 84.8mm. There is long grass everywhere you look, it is lush. Yet it was not so in October. It was dry and thirsty and I began to pray. The farmer said to me, " we only received 13mm in the whole of January" and I replied "we received an abundance," and he said, "yes but you go to church more than me." I replied, " I pray a lot." I inhabit the secret place and talk a lot to my God. May my farmer begin to pray. Amen
