Words of my Heart
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight oh Lord my rock and redeemer. Psalm 19:14
You would probably agree with me that at times we allow our hearts and minds to dwell on rough stuff. Critical thoughts about others an ourselves, thoughts about slackness or misbehaviour.
I am so grateful for grace and the work of the cross. When I catch myself in these places I repent, pray for those being criticized, in fact prophetically praying and rejoicing for the mighty hand on God on their lives.
It is only when I dwell too long on wrong stuff it has an opportunity of affecting my words and before I know it I am a poison pen.
Always believe the best, hope the best, pray the best, say the best about others. Paul tells us on 1 Cor 13 that: love believes all things, hopes all things and love never ends. Love for our 'others' is never-ending in the heart of God so if He overlooks who am I to look. Amen!
