He is Stirring!

The declaration of the Lord: "I will be a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory within it." Zechariah's 2:5

The Lord is drawing me aside. At midnight last night I awoke to hear a wind blowing and knew it represented the Spirit. Earlier in the day, after lunch, I watched a message online by Brian Houston, Hillsong Australia. It spoke to me and it also spoke to me of others. I went to church that night and shared it around.

The Spirit of the Lord is moving on my land, this is so good. I am restrained in the Spirit to simplify, be quiet and wait on Him. He is stirring, I can sense He has awoken and is making ready to do something. Yesterday I saw two people I have come to know have God move in on them and disrupt their worlds. It is new to them and they are disturbed, and this is just the beginning.

As I write this I look out to the west and see a fiery sunset and the remainder of the sky is grey and heavy with rain. A while ago now I told the Lord if He rained natural rain He must rain spiritual rain and so I am expectant. WooHoo!

A change has begun. Praise God!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
