Shepherd Gone

Yahweh my God says this:

"shepherd the flock intended for slaughter. Those who buy them slaughter them but are not punished. Those who sell them say: "Praise the Lord because I have become rich! Even their own shepherds have no compassion for them. Indeed I will no longer have compassion for them"-this is the Lord's declaration. Zechariah 11:4

He shepherds if the flock, the priests and leaders saw their own people as a commodity and had no compassion.

We see this a lot. Leaders see their people as commodities to make themselves rich. They charge taxes and fees that the people cannot pay.

The Lord was washing His hands of the people because of their sin.

We cannot continually grasp for what we want, endeavouring to be our own provider and saviour. God must be our all! He alone is good.

As the children of Israel continued to take matters into their own hands they became lost. They became enticed by foreign gods that seduced their carnal minds. The game has not changed but the prize is so precious, a living relationship with out God, Him coming to dwell within. Gone is the rule book and judgment seat. Grace has come! Amen!
