Spirit For Spirit

Then I looked up again and saw four chariots coming from between two mountains. And the mountains were made of bronze. The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot black horses, the third chariot had white horses, and the fourth chariot had dappled horses- all strong horses. So I inquired of the angel who was speaking with me, "What are these my Lord?" The angel told me, "These are the four spirits of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth. Zechariah 6:1-5

The book of Revelation talk about these different horses and also four Angels in the four corners of the earth. Suffice to say, these are a spiritual reality, the four spirits that is. The pictures of horses is probably symbolism.

We can be so caught up with what we touch and see that we fail to grasp the reality of the spirit world. The Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness exist in this realm and this is where many battles are fought and won by prayer warriors who understand this realm of the Spirit.

I don't think we should go around with out minds constantly stuck here but we need to be aware and know that when we pray this is where the action is.

Paul teaches that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal or natural but spiritual for the pulling down of strongholds. 2 Cor 10:4

In my neighbourhood we have a young people's unit filled with fast driving young men. In a street where chilldren live their speeding is a problem. Now dealing with this problem is a challenge. I know I need to pray, others will fight with natural means and there may be some measure of success but every time our flesh gets involved there is trouble.

This scripture encourages me to pray and seek God's way. Amen!
