The Fountain

On that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the residents of Jerusalem, to wash away sin and impurity. On that day-this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts- I will erase the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered. I will remove the prophets and unclean spirits from the land. Zechariah 13:1,2

This scripture talks to me about Jesus, because the only power that enables such cleansing is God's power and right decisions can only be made as I have an i dwelling spirit of God empowering me. Much of scripture points to Him and His coming. The second coming will be one of authority, complete authority and power.

Jesus came from the house of David. He was from the seed of David. He himself talked about a river of living water, a fountain,  coming out of a man as he is indwelt by the spirit of God.

The Jesus I know and serve empowers me to defeat sin, to rise in newness of life, to walk in miracles.
Seek Him, seek Him, lay aside earthly pleasures. A little seeking is not enough. The scripture says that when we seek Him with all our heart, soul and mind we will find Him. This talks of dedication, intensity of purpose. Amen!
