Ears to Hear and Eyes to See

As Jesus and His disciples were leaving Jericho a large crowd followed Him. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard Jesus was going by   they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the more, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
Jesus stopped and called to them, "What would you have me do for you?"
"Lord", they answered "we want our sight."
Jesus had compassion on them and immediately they received their sight.
Matthew 20:29-34

Many are deaf and blind when it comes to the gospel yet to those who ask in faith receive eternal life.

As a Christian I know there are still times when I am blind and deaf. I can imagine the Lord saying to Himself, "If only she could hear she would understand things as I see them." At these times I pray for insight and see, but oh if only I saw as He sees and hears what He hears.

Faith moves God and faith comes from hearing the word of God. Oh how do the deaf hear? Lord have mercy and open deaf ears that they might truely hear and be saved. Amen!
