Choices: Sickness or Health?

From the sole of the foot even to the head, no spot is uninjured- wounds, welts, and festering sores not cleansed, bandaged, or soothed with oil. Isaiah 1:6

Tonight I met with other 'believers' for a farewell dinner for a couple moving away.  I noticed that there was a problem with infirmity. As I listened I could see souls trapped in helplessness. I began to wonder where was their God. So many Christians are caught in the trap of infirmity and rather than going to Christ, moan about their lot. The enemy traps in cages of helplessness and we must break out of them by focussing on Jesus and giving Him praise. He gives us the tools we need. We must slap ourselves with the word of God and pull out our faith and go on the offensive.

I also experience injury, it  has only been about 8 weeks since I fell at the pool and broke a rib and two weeks since I overused my arms and legs causing injury to joints, muscles and tissues. But I know the One in whom I hope, He is Jesus, Son of the living God. He raises me up, He heals all my diseases, He gives me new life. My mindset is health. My future is hope, my answers are 'yes,' and 'amen.'

"Oh praise the name of the Lord our God, oh praise His name forevermore, for endless days we will sing Your praise, oh Lord, oh Lord our God."(hymn)

Praise lifts the burdens, bring life and clarity. I must take my spiritual medicine and not resort to worldly ways: winging and whining. Oh Lord I worship You! Amen!
