Grace Indeed

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens- Jesus the Son of God- let us hold fast to the confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time. Hebrews 4:14-16

Ah! So good to know you Lord! So good to be able to sit in the quiet and read your word and turn to you for Your ways!

Tonight I went to the Chamber of Commerce dinner and found it boring and tedious, except, I found treasure. Ah! Glory! My hairdresser's daughter and I got talking and she is passionate about youth. I told her about my Skate Park venture and she is in. She does not know the Lord yet, but He's acoming! I also prays about my young cousin that I had befriended over the last week and she invited me to be friends on Facebook. Oh Jesus! What joy! These two are the ones. 

I had lunch today with my cousins to celebrate the birthday of the youngest and invited her to learn art as she needs the therapy it provides. She is coming!

Oh Jesus, oh Jesus, oh! How good are You! How good!

If I do the work of Him who called me, I will have grace indeed. Amen! Bring them Lord! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
