He is My Saviour

Therefore, holy brothers and companions in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession; He was faithful to the One who appointed Him, just as Moses was in all God's household. For Jesus is considered worthy of more glory than Moses, just as the builder has more honour than the house. Now every house is built by someone, but the One who built everything is God. Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's household, as a testimony to what would be said in the future. But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope. Hebrews 3:1-6

What was it like for Jesus to walk is earth as a Son? He had to grow up in a normal family. Yes He was first but others came. How did He handle the new and rejoiced over others? How did He handle sharing? How did He handle responsibility? He had to learn. He was not like Adam, created as a man. He started out as a baby, He had to learn to live.

God gave the role of training His Son to Mary and Jospeph. Two imperfect beings had to train a sinless child. What a responsibility! How difficult was it, knowing they were sinful and imperfect?

Our reality is we are also sinful but have a Saviour who was perfect. We can accept who we are and walk in His righteousness. We can allow His righteousness to live inside us and direct us. 'Oh sinful man that I am who can deliver me?' I praise God Jesus has done just that.

I don't have to walk in sin nor an artificial righteousness, my own, but relax and allow Him to live through me. Amen! Yes it is a challenge, but only to my mind. As I yield to Him, I do it! Step by step, piece by piece!
