Lord over All

For in bringing many sons to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God- should make the source of their salvation through sufferings. For the One who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. This is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers saying:
'I will proclaim Your name to My brothers;
I will sing hymns to You in the congregation.' (Psalm 22:22)
And again, 'I will trust in Him' (2 Sam 22:3). And again, 'Here I am with the children God gave me.'(Ps 18:2)
Hebrews 2:10-13

The first Adam had been given everything subject to him, but he gave it away to Satan. Jesus, the new Adam, came all man and all God to redeem back what was stolen. He did this on the cross. Satan can no longer come to us and say he owns the world, he doesn't.

My Jesus was longed for throughout the Old Testament. He came at the very best time and walked with us, sinless. By being sinless Satan had nothing in Him. By dying on the cross He paid the price for the rest of us. I don't have to pay for my sins if I choose to make Jesus my Lord and saviour. As I live out of His Lordship over all, I am safe. If I only choose Him as saviour and not Lord, I will continue to struggle. Amen! Lordship won the victory, I must trust Him with all that I am!
