The New is Here!
If then, perfection came through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there for another priest to appear, said to be in the Oder of Melchizedek and not of the order of Aaron? For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must be a change of the law as well. For the One these things are spoken about belonged to a different tribe. No one from it has served at the altar. Now it is evident that our Lord came from Judah, and Moses said nothing about that tribe concerning priests.
And this becomes clearer if another priest like Melchizedek appears, who did not become a priest based on a legal command concerning physical descent but based on the power of an indestructible life. For it has been testified:
'you are a priest forever in the Oder of Melchizedek.' Hebrews 7:11-17
I don't know about you but I am grateful that the new came in the shape of Jesus Christ. Struggling under the law would have been a heavy burden indeed. Jesus came and took our load. He said: ' My burden is easy, My yoke is light!' The reason His burden is easy is we are free from the burden of the law and can now enter into eternal life through His sacrifice. By offering Himself He satisfied the requirement of the law. A perfect life was slain and that perfect life's blood was spilled for our sins. We are free, in Him. As I walk in Him I am delivered from all law and all sin. Amen! What freedom is mine!
As His voice I must not put people under the law, I cannot judge them but rather allow Him to change them. Amen! The Lord is giving me more and more territory to reach and I am loving it. As He pours His love into my heart for them I rejoice at what He is doing on their behalf.
I am somehow connected to a group on Facebook in the remote parts of Australia, perhaps I liked their page. However, yesterday I saw a post that showed He had begun to work in them and I began to rejoice and pray and join in the conversation.
Last night I noticed another group responding to another line and I joined in, knowing He was there. I am now praying for that thread. Who says Facebook is a waste of time, look for Him and take love there. Amen! Don't get preachy! Love people!
